Quick answer: add the records the platform tells you to add, at the place your nameservers point. For a domain with CloudZex nameservers that is the DNS tab in My domains → Manage. If your DNS is at Cloudflare or elsewhere, add them there. Changes usually work in 5 to 30 minutes and sometimes take up to 24 hours.
Where to add records
- Open My domains in your client area and click Manage on the domain.
- Open the DNS tab and add, edit or delete records.
The DNS tab is not available for every domain extension. If your domain uses the hosting nameservers (dns1.cloudzex.com and dns2.cloudzex.com), manage records from the DNS zone editor of your hosting control panel.
Shopify
- A record: host
@, value23.227.38.65. - CNAME record: host
www, valueshops.myshopify.com. - Then in Shopify go to Settings → Domains → Connect existing domain and verify. Check Shopify's help if these values have changed.
Blogger
- CNAME record: host
www, valueghs.google.com. - A second CNAME with the name and value shown in Blogger's settings (a unique token).
- To open the plain domain too, add Blogger's four A records shown in its help page.
Google Sites
- In Google Sites open Settings → Custom domains and enter your address.
- Add a CNAME record: host
www, valueghs.google.com, then finish the verification in Google Sites.
Your own server or VPS
- A record: host
@, value the server's IPv4 address. - CNAME record: host
www, value@(your domain).
Email services
For Google Workspace, Zoho or Microsoft 365 add the MX records and the SPF/DKIM TXT records they give you. See "How to Configure Email & Webmail DNS Records".
