Monitoring your server's resources is crucial to ensure optimal performance. CloudZex provides an easy way to track your VPS usage directly from the Client Area.
How to Check Resource Usage:
- Log in to your CloudZex Client Area.
- Navigate to Services and click on your VPS.
- Look for the Resource Usage or Statistics tab.
What to Look For:
- CPU Usage: High CPU usage might indicate heavy traffic or a resource-intensive script running on your server. If it constantly hits 100%, consider upgrading your plan.
- RAM (Memory) Usage: RAM is critical for running services like MySQL and web servers. If your RAM is constantly full, your server might start killing processes or become slow.
- Bandwidth: This shows how much data has been transferred in and out of your server. Make sure you stay within your monthly allocation to avoid suspension.
If you notice any unusual spikes, you can always connect via SSH and use commands like htop to see exactly which processes are consuming resources.
