Deploy Your Website from GitHub

Connect your GitHub account in the control panel, then deploy a public or private repository manually or automatically on every push.

Quick answer: in the control panel use GitHub connection in the left menu to link your GitHub account. Then choose Websites → Add new → Deploy from GitHub, pick your repository and deploy. You can deploy by hand, or turn on auto-deploy so every push updates your site.

Connect GitHub

  1. Sign in to the control panel (panel.cloudzex.com).
  2. Open GitHub connection in the left menu and connect your GitHub account.
  3. Allow access to the repositories you want to deploy. Private repositories work too.

Deploy a repository

  1. Open Websites → Add new and choose Deploy from GitHub.
  2. Enter the domain and select the repository.
  3. Choose manual deploy or auto-deploy on push, then finish.

You can also deploy to an existing website from the GitHub section of its dashboard. Use a staging website to test before your production site.

Tips

  • Keep passwords and secret keys (.env files) out of your repository.
  • Test with auto-deploy on a staging website first, so a bad push does not break your live site.
  • Menu names can change slightly between panel versions. If you cannot see the option, open a ticket.
  • Fixing errors in your own code is your responsibility. We help with the hosting side.

Prefer the command line?

You can still use SSH and git pull in your website folder. Use a read-only deploy key for private repositories.
