How to Change Your Nameservers

Quick answer: go to My domains in your client area, click Manage on the domain, open the Nameservers tab, enter the new nameservers and save. The change takes 2 to 24 hours to spread across the internet. To use CloudZex hosting, set dns1.cloudzex.com and dns2.cloudzex.com.

Steps

1. Log in to your client area and open My domains.
2. Click Manage next to the domain.
3. Open the Nameservers tab.
4. Enter the nameservers from your hosting provider (at least two) and click save.

Good to know

• While the change spreads, your website and email may work for some visitors and not for others.
• Do not change nameservers if you only want to add one record (for example for Shopify). Add the record instead (see "Managing Custom DNS Records").
• If you use Cloudflare, the nameservers are the ones Cloudflare gives you.
